EMPI Competition Merged Exhaust System — 1-5/8" Type 1

Built for serious performance. The EMPI Competition Merged Header features 1-5/8" mandrel-bent tubing with a hand-cut and fitted longer collector that maximizes exhaust scavenging and unlocks top-end power. Designed for dual-carb performance builds, this header eliminates heater boxes for maximum airflow.

Comes with a non-baffled black stinger and all the gaskets and hardware needed for the stinger. For a quieter setup, add an EMPI merged-compatible muffler (part numbers 3700, 55-3700, 3701, 3702, or 3703).

Important Notes:

• Not for use with single carburetors — the exhaust has no heat riser attachments
• If using black paint, strip it before install or it will burn off in the first few hours
• Compatible muffler must be purchased separately for street use
