EMPI GTV-2 Complete Racing Cylinder Head for air-cooled VW. Built on the proven GTV-2 casting and machined for 94mm pistons, then assembled with massive 42mm intake and 37.5mm exhaust stainless steel Manley valves and dual hi-rev springs for serious high-RPM performance. The extra-large valves require the dual-spring valvetrain to keep up with high-lift cams.

The GTV-2 casting features 20% larger intake and exhaust ports than stock, with added material around the combustion chamber for deep fly cutting and thick interior walls for porting.

Important

• Lash Caps (P/N 00-4006-0) are required for all stainless steel valve applications — sold separately.
• 12mm long reach spark plugs (e.g., NGK DCPR8E) must be used in place of stock Bosch plugs.
• Verify rocker arm geometry and check for coil bind with dual springs.
