The pinnacle of the EMPI GTV-2 wedge-port lineup. These Stage 3 heads start as a pair of GTV-2 castings, machined to 94mm bore, then CNC-ported to the massive Stage 3 wedge port design and cut for huge 44mm intake and 37.5mm exhaust valves. Flows up to 210 CFM out of the box for serious bolt-on horsepower.

The GTV-2 castings feature additional material around the combustion chambers to allow for deep fly cutting, and the spark plug is positioned away from the valve seats to eliminate stress cracks.

Important

• Lash Caps (P/N 00-4006-0) are required for all stainless steel valve applications — sold separately.
• 12mm long reach spark plugs (NGK DCPR8E recommended) must be used in place of stock Bosch plugs.
• Verify rocker arm geometry and check for coil bind with dual springs.
