Kennedy Engineered Products (KEP) 200 mm 4-puck clutch disc — the more aggressive of Kennedy's two 200 mm puck-style discs. The 4-puck pattern grabs harder and faster than 6-puck or full-faced discs, making it the go-to choice for drag launches, sand drag, and competition use where on/off engagement is acceptable.

Application

• VW Type 1 / Type 2 / Type 3 with 200 mm flywheel
• Drag racing, sand drag, off-road competition
• Pair with a KEP pressure plate (Stage 1 1700 lb or higher) sized to your engine output
• Not recommended for daily street use — engagement is much more abrupt than a stock disc

4-puck vs 6-puck — which one

Puck-style discs replace the full friction surface of a stock clutch disc with a smaller number of pads ("pucks") bonded to a sprung steel hub. Fewer pucks = less contact area = more aggressive on/off engagement and higher peak grab. The KEP 4-puck (this one) is meant for engines and drivers who launch hard and want maximum hookup. If you want a more streetable feel with still-significant grip upgrade over stock, the KEP 6-puck (16-9899-0) is the better choice.
