The PMO 46mm Performance Carburetor Kit is the gold standard for air-cooled Porsche 911 carburetor conversions. Made in Anaheim, California from CNC-machined billet aluminum with aerospace-grade tolerances, PMO carbs solve every shortcoming of the original Weber IDA — eliminating throttle shaft wear, air leaks, and tuning headaches that plague decades-old Webers. Now manufactured under the EMPI banner, with the same Richard Parr engineering and Anaheim production.

PMO carbs are produced in PMO's California facility by EMPI. When founder Richard Parr retired, EMPI acquired PMO and invested in expanded machinery to keep the legacy alive. Same engineering. Same quality. American-made.
Note: Intake manifolds NOT included. Most installs use existing OE manifolds; PMO also offers CNC-machined billet replacement manifolds in 40/46/50mm sizes — ask us if you need them.
Installation: Final jetting may need adjustment for your specific engine setup. PMO publishes a Carb Setup Sheet — recommended to fill out before install. Professional tuning recommended for first-time PMO users.
