PMO's aluminum Front Suspension Crossmember is an exact OE-replica replacement for the steel factory unit, designed using 3D scanning from an original sample. Investment cast in aluminum with CNC-finished control arm mounts, it delivers precise front-end alignment, increased structural rigidity, and reduced sprung weight versus the heavy stock steel piece. A bolt-in upgrade for any 911/912/914 enthusiast doing a front-end refresh.
Why Aluminum Over Stock Steel
- Significant weight reduction at the front of the car (unsprung-adjacent mass)
- Investment-cast aluminum — exact OE dimensions, no fitment surprises
- CNC-machined control arm mounts for precise alignment
- Increased structural rigidity for sharper turn-in
- Period-correct appearance — looks like it belongs
- 3D-scanned from original to retain all factory specifications
