The EMPI GTV-2 L7 CNC-ported configuration is part of EMPI's high-end racing head lineup, machined for 94mm pistons. These new port designs include most of what DRD Racing Heads previously offered. The L7 port profile is engineered for serious horsepower-per-displacement on big-bore (1914cc-2332cc) builds.

Beefed-up intake and exhaust ports allow massive porting without the need for welding. Special aluminum alloy for strength and durability — and fully repairable. Added material around the combustion chamber for deep fly cutting, exhaust air passages clear for proper cooling.

Important

• Lash Caps (P/N 00-4006-0) are required for all stainless steel valve applications — sold separately.
• 12mm long reach spark plugs must be used in place of stock Bosch plugs.
• Verify rocker arm geometry and check for coil bind with dual springs.
