Installation Guide: Step-by-Step

Note: This set is for use with Late Style (1968-later) Beetle Convertible mirrors. Mirror heads are not included.

1. Alignment: Identify the left and right mounts. Position the mount against your extruded aluminum windshield frame at the desired height.

2. Mounting: Use the included stainless steel hex fasteners to secure the mount to the frame. Ensure the mount is vertical and flush against the extrusion.

3. Mirror Prep: Take your EMPI 98-8571-B or 98-8572-B mirror and prepare it for mounting.

4. Attachment: Thread the mirror stem into the billet mount. Adjust the mirror angle to provide the best field of vision from the driver's seat.

5. Secure: Tighten the mounting hardware and mirror stem locknut.

6. Final Polish: Use a microfiber cloth to wipe away any fingerprints from the polished billet surface to reveal the show-quality shine.
